Dear Colleagues,
This is a Call for Papers for the WFOT Bulletin (Volume 79 Issue 1) Occupational Therapy and Assistive Technology

Deadline: 30 November 2022
Guest editor: Dr Shovan Saha

In 2017 WFOT ran a global survey in response to the WHO’s global project, Global Cooperation on Assistive Technology (GATE) (WFOT, 2019). It demonstrated the strong involvement of occupational therapists. The WHO GATE initiative sought to improve access to high-quality affordable assistive products globally bringing a focus on these needs.

The WFOT Bulletin welcomes submissions across the wide spectrum of assistive technology practices which may include practice and research that extends the scope of AT practice in different socio-economic-cultural settings, challenging the pre-existing paradigms in this area.

Contributions may take the form of peer-reviewed research, commentary, analysis and research from various disciplinary vantage points, from the theoretical to the applied.

The Bulletin accepts general articles at any time. Manuscript Articles of 4000-5000 words: instructions for authors: www.wfot.org/Bulletin,aspx or www.tandfonline.com/loi/YOTB

Case studies 1500 words: may follow the following format: unstructured abstract, 5 keywords, introduction with a description of the situation and context including the socioeconomic, political climate of practice, reason for new practice, background (the scenario), role of occupational therapy, implications and impact, conclusion with application perhaps to other places/countries.
